Research Interests

I am a condensed matter physicist working on strongly correlated quantum systems on the lattice and in the continuum, using numerical tools like tensor network methods. In particular, I'm interested in out of equilibrium dynamics of low dimensional quantum systems, like e.g. spin chains, bosonic field theories or interacting impurities coupled to fermionic or bosonic reservoirs.
I develop tensor networks methods for continuous quantum field theories, which allow the non-perturbative calculation of ground-states and excited states of quantum field theories.

I work on applications of tensor networks to machine learning.
