Are you passionate about data and enjoy making systems work smarter and more effectively? Perimeter Institute is looking for a Coordinator, Data Projects and Maintenance to join our Technology Services Team. Reporting to the Business Data Manager, you’ll play a key role in improving data quality, supporting data management initiatives, and helping our teams make the most of their data.

What You’ll Do:
Data Quality Management
- Research and source additional contacts and data to help expand our academic audience.
- On a semi-annual basis conduct data audit with program managers to ensure key goals are met.
- Promote data consistency by training teams, documenting processes, and sharing best practices.
- Support internal teams with data inquiries and provide training on data entry and management.
- Be a champion for our data systems, driving improvement and innovation.
Maintenance, Reporting, and Analysis
- Conducting thorough research of Perimeter’s alumni data as needed.
- Assist teams with updating and correcting data as needed.
- Help with data conversion between systems for smoother transitions.
- Plan and coordinate data management activities using our tools and systems.
- Create reports and data extracts to support key decision-making.
System Testing and Administration
- Participate in system upgrades, new implementations, and testing.
- Document and manage test cases to ensure smooth system functionality.
- Assist with system configuration and administration (including Salesforce).
- Train and support business users during system testing and rollouts.
What We’re Looking For:
Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities
- Completed post secondary education in library sciences, data management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of experience working with data in multiple systems or databases.
- Strong experience in data management and proficiency with tools like Microsoft Office Suite and spreadsheets.
- Familiarity with Salesforce; admin experience is a big plus!
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze information, make informed decisions, and manage multiple projects.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A high degree of discretion when handling confidential information.
