Perimeter is a not-for-profit, registered charity devoted to fundamental research, training, and educational outreach in theoretical physics. In addition to research positions, there are a variety of administrative departments that facilitate the strategic operations of the Institute.

Administrative Departments:

Advancement
The Advancement team is responsible for strategic philanthropic initiatives, including partnerships with individuals, corporations, and foundations who support the Institute.
Black Hole Bistro
The Bistro is Perimeter Institute's full service restaurant located in the heart of the building on the 1st floor.
Communications and Public Engagement
The Communications team shares Perimeter research, news, and activities with the world through custom digital content.
Government Affairs and External Relations
External Relations helps the Institute establish and maintain relationships throughout the research, training, outreach and public/private partnership communities.
Facilities
The facilities department provides an optimal infrastructure which promotes research excellence in a comfortable, safe, stimulating and inspiring environment.

Finance
The Finance Department provides reliable financial information and services, and to promote fiscal responsibility and accountability over the expenditures of the Institute.
Technology Services
The Technology Services department maintains computing and communications infrastructure and delivers technology services that support the Institute’s objectives.
Training, Educational Outreach and Scientific Programs
TEOSP oversees several graduate and undergraduate programs at Perimeter, and supports students and teachers through programs and products designed to share the joy, mystery, and power of modern science.
People and Culture
The People and Culture team’s focus is to create and maintain an environment where residents are supported, able to do their best work and feel safe.
PI Library
The George Leibbrandt Library (PI Library) provides a working collection in support of the research, teaching and learning of the PI community.
