Katie "AstroKatie" Mack answered questions from online viewers during a special re-imagined incarnation of the Perimeter Institute Public Lecture Series.

In a special live Perimeter webcast in May 2020, theoretical cosmologist and science communicator Katie Mack -- known to her many Twitter followers as @AstroKatie -- spoke on her favourite subject: the end of the universe.

Mack, who holds a Simons Emmy Noether Fellowship at Perimeter, gave viewers a sneak peek of her upcoming book, The End of Everything (Astrophysically Speaking), and answered questions from online viewers.

Mack is an Assistant Professor at North Carolina State University whose research investigates dark matter, vacuum decay, and the epoch of reionization. She is a also popular science communicator, both on social media and through contributions to Scientific American, Slate, Sky & Telescope, Time, Cosmos, and more.
