Perimeter Institute is passionate about sharing the excitement of scientific research and discovery. Perimeter hosts many events, including the popular Perimeter Public Lecture Series, community festivals like the Quantum to Cosmos: Ideas for the Future, and webinars such as “What the Higgs is Going On?” Beyond education outreach, the Events Horizons arts and culture programming offers many stimulating opportunities for curious minds to meet and share ideas.

MISSION/CODE OF CONDUCT
Perimeter offers volunteer opportunities to interested members of the general public. Perimeter Institute endeavors to treat all employees, volunteers, and patrons with dignity and respect. All Perimeter Institute volunteers are expected to abide by and follow the Institute Code of Conduct. Failure to do so may result in termination from the program.
The Institute is grateful for the efforts of its volunteers. Perimeter will strive to host stimulating appreciation events specifically geared towards providing recognition to our many volunteers.
There are a number of volunteer job opportunities at Perimeter Institute that cover a variety of areas such as hospitality, administration, education, and leadership.
HEALTH and SAFETY
Perimeter Institute is vitally interested in the health and safety of its employees, volunteers, and patrons. The Institute will strive to eliminate any foreseeable hazards which may result in fires, security losses, damage to property, and personal injuries or illness. Responsibility for maintaining a safe and healthy environment rests with every individual. It is imperative that all hazards are reported immediately to the Volunteer coordinator or immediate supervisor. Prior to any event/volunteer effort, volunteers are expected to review the Institute exits and emergency procedures.

Perimeter Institute is committed to providing an environment that is accessible and inclusive to all persons who work, study, or visit the Institute (including volunteers, patrons, and third party contractors). The Institute will strive to ensure that its policies, practices, and procedures are consistent with the following core principles as outlined in the AODA:
