  • Has shown research excellence
  • Is an excellent mentor or science communicator
  • Is a supportive and inclusive leader
  • Has made an impact within their research area or beyond 

Award package includes:

  • Inaugural Award winner title
  • Support a 2-week visit to Perimeter Institute for research collaboration
  • Opportunity to provide a talk/colloquium/public lecture in 2028 and present the Academic Leadership Excellence Award to new winner
