- Has shown research excellence
- Is an excellent mentor or science communicator
- Is a supportive and inclusive leader
- Has made an impact within their research area or beyond
Award package includes:
- Inaugural Award winner title
- Support a 2-week visit to Perimeter Institute for research collaboration
- Opportunity to provide a talk/colloquium/public lecture in 2028 and present the Academic Leadership Excellence Award to new winner
