Mathematical and foundational problems in classical and quantum general relativity and gauge theories. Phase space (symplectic) geometry of these theories, especially on manifolds with boundaries and corners -- both at finite and asymptotic distances. Asymptotic structure of spacetime. Discrete models of quantum geometry and gravity in 3 and 4d, and their relation to topological quantum field theories. (Quantum) symmetry deformations.
