Overview

Lisa is an accomplished senior executive who brings an entrepreneurial approach to delivering results and profitability for the companies that she leads. 

With a wide range of global experience within traditional media, digital media, music, publishing and other cultural industries, Lisa's expertise lies in the building of intellectual property, content, products and brands and harnessing them across multiple platforms, both traditional as well emerging channels of distribution.

Digital media experience spans from launching the first Canadian kids video-on-demand subscription television service, to P&L responsibility for Max Trax Digital Music, to leading Kids Can Press into the world of ebook publishing and audio books. 

Lisa was honoured with a 2015 Leadership Award by Women in Communications and Technology. The award recognizes leaders for their efforts to advance women's representation and achievement in Canada's information, communications and technology sector. In 2018, Lisa received a Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada award from the Women's Executive Network.

Lisa has served on the Board of Trustees of the Ontario Science Centre and Ontario Creates,formerly known as the Ontario Media Development Corporation. She currently sits on the Emmy Noether Circle at the Perimeter Institute forTheoretical Physics that encourages young women and girls to pursue careers in science and math. Lisa is also an active member of the International Women's Forum @IWF where she sits on the Executive Committee of the Canadian Forum Toronto Chapter, serving as Chair of Programming.
