The subject of this workshop is at the leading edge of current research in Quantum Information, specifically in the field of quantum error correction.  Quantum LDPC codes is the only class of codes where a finite rate and a finite fault-tolerant error correction threshold are known to coexist.

This workshop will bring together researchers working on quantum LDPC codes, including the surface codes.
