As an effective financial services leader, Suzan Snaggs-Wilson leads a diverse team of five Scotiabank branches in Waterloo, Ontario. Over her 26 year career in the financial services industry, she has held several senior roles within the retail branch and executive office network, giving her a robust and multifaceted background. Her profound understanding of cross-cultural leadership, people engagement and strategic business planning has made her a game changer in her field.

As a migrant to Canada from Trinidad and Tobago in the West Indies, Ms. Snaggs-Wilson has a passion for personal and people development, evidenced by her commitment to life-long learning. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Wilfrid Laurier University; an MBA in Financial Services from Dalhousie University; Personal Financial Planning Designation and is an Associate of the Canadian Securities Institute. Ms. Snaggs-Wilson is a PhD candidate at the University of Toronto focused on the advancement of women on corporate boards in Canada and holds a certification in Executive /Leadership Coaching from the Certified Coaches Federation.

As a writer, presenter and speaker, Ms. Snaggs-Wilson is the CEO of Snagg Success Consulting. She is a director on the board for Neruda Productions focused on the advancement of cultural arts and performance; is the Vice-President on the board of directors of Unity Kitchener; serves on the Belonging Steering Committee for Immigration Partnership of Waterloo Region and is the Multicultural Ambassador for Scotiabank in Ontario Region

Ms.Snaggs-Wilson was the recipient of the 2013 United Way K-W Choice Award.
