David Marsh

Research Interests

My primary interest is in theoretical cosmology, in particular use of CMB and large scale structure power spectra to constrain additional cosmological parameters. My work tends to focus on ideas coming from string theory concerning the nature of the dark sector. I am interested in everything from inflation, through reheating, to the CMB, galaxy formation, and late time acceleration. Most of my work in these topics centres on axions, which are a type of particle ubiquitous in low-energy descriptions of string theory.
