University of Toronto and Perimeter Associate / Full Professor - Mathematical Physics

The Department of Mathematics, University of Toronto, invites applications for a tenured appointment at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. The successful candidate will also be appointed as Associate Faculty at Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics (Waterloo, Ontario). The expected start date of the appointment is July 1, 2014.

The University of Toronto is an international leader in mathematics research and education. Applicants are expected to be outstanding mathematicians whose research and teaching will make a major contribution to the quality and stature of the Department, as well as the research programs at the Perimeter Institute. Preference will be given to researchers in the areas of Mathematical Physics, Probability, or Geometric Langlands. However, exceptional candidates in other areas of common interest to mathematics and theoretical physics are encouraged to apply.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Evidence of excellence in teaching and research is required.
