Research Interests

My primary research interests are in the study of gauge/gravity duality and its application to realistic physics. In particular I have been working on 4D N=1 supersymmetric gauge theories arising in string theories, which have quite rich physical aspects as well as great controllability by holomorphy.

Kitano and I presented a general scheme for finding or creating a metastable vacuum in supersymmetric theories. By using the formalism, we showed that there is a parameter region where a metastable vacuum exists in the Wess-Zumino model coupled to messenger fields.
