Research Interests

My main research activities are focused on Higgs phenomenology as well as flavor and CP phenomenology in extensions of the Standard Model.
Models of new physics often contain modified Higgs sectors and predict Higgs properties that deviate from the Standard Model predictions. The LHC Higgs searches allow to scrutinize such models.
If in addition to a Higgs, new degrees of freedom will be found at the LHC, studies of low energy flavor and CP violating observables will play a crucial role in determining the flavor structure of their couplings and in discriminating between various underlying new physics models. In the case of no direct evidence for new degrees of freedom, flavor and CP observables represent powerful tools to indirectly probe new physics models far beyond the direct reach of the LHC. I am interested in interpreting upcoming results from high energy and high intensity experiments both model independently and in the context of concrete new physics models. I am also interested in improving existing and developing new strategies to search for new physics at high energy and high intensity experiments.
