Science in the Club

Brian Malow, a renowned science comedian played to 4 sold-out events at the Starlight Lounge.

Perimeter was sorry to announce that Matt Parker, originally booked for this event, was regrettably unable to perform at the BrainSTEM Festival’s Science in the Club due to unforeseen travel difficulties.

INSTEAD we were delighted to have the opportunity to present Brian Malow, a renowned science comedian recently featured on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.  Brian, a regular blogger for Scientific American, will be showcasing his Rational Comedy for an Irrational Planet show.

Brian has performed for audiences far and wide, bringing a flair for geeky wonder to his hilarious observations about scientific discovery. He has produced science videos for Time Magazine, and has contributed to Neil deGrasse Tyson’s popular radio show. Brian’s comedy has been featured in The New York Times and the San Francisco Chronicle.

The Washington Post Express says: “Malow brings stage-honed stand-up chops to the elucidation of the natural world.”

When not performing onstage, he works in science communication at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences.

We were very fortunate that Brian graciously accepted taking the place of a fellow comedian on such short notice.
