My research focuses on black hole astrophysics, an interesting and exciting field including physics of accretion flow, relativistic jet, magnetohydrodynamics, and radiative transfer. I am also interested in gravitational wave physic.
Currently, I am mostly devoted to the Event Horizon Telescope project, a virtual Earth-size telescope to observe the horizon scale properties of target supermassive black hole systems. Contributing the theoretical understading of the observations, I have been explroing the VLBI (Very Long Baseline Interferometry) observational features of black hole accretion/jet on the event horizon scale.
